On Friday the 30th LSRag sent 74 collectors to the London underground to collect for Poppy Appeal. Leaving on the Thursday night and staying in a School's Sports Hall and up at 5:45am the collectors all managed to arrive at their underground station for 7am. The Total collected by Loughborough Students Rag was a whopping £34,404. This is the largest single collection by one Rag of all time. All the money collected will go towards caring for injured soldiers and looking after the families of war casualties in the UK. Collectors did well across the board, with an average collection of £465 per person.
