Rag Bonfire

The Rag Bonfire this year will be held on Saturday 7th November down at the Towers Pitches, where students come together to put on the largest bonfire spectacle in the Leicestershire region. The bonfire regularly sees around 10,000 people in attendance, from students to folks in the community, all come together to enjoy a firework extravaganza, a huge bonfire, fairground rides, glow sticks, toffee apples and much more.

It’s a packed weekend where you can come down and join in the mayhem, from building the massive bonfire to enjoying the amazing atmosphere, or if it’s more up your street a ride on the dodgems and some candy floss.

Whatever the case, you will be sure to bring a smile to the many people that benefit from the evening and the thousands that are raised for the local community in the process.

Gates open at 5pm with the children's firework display at 6pm followed by the bonfire at 7pm and the main display at 8pm. All are welcome entrance costs £6 for an adult/student and £2.50 for children. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Family tickets available for £12 includes 2 adults 2 children.
