The ultimate test in toughness, sorting out the wheat from the chaff in the most dramatic fashion possible; the challenge will test you to your limits physically and mentally. It is the original survival ordeal, a test of endurance designed to take you beyond your limits. Over 5,000 runners take part with less than 2,500 completing the course. The toughest one day survival course that will see you run ragged over 10km followed by a gruelling assault course with underwater temperatures reaching as low as –8°C. This challenge isn’t for the faint hearted with obstacle names such as tyre torture, the killing fields and the swamp, it doesn’t leave much for the imagination.

Last year we took nearly 100 runners and won the University Competition and it’s something we hope to retain this year.
